“The Discipline of Surrender” Philippians 4:10-19 (4:10-12)
Most human beings feel a need to exert as much control over their life as possible. That’s putting it in a positive way. We could also say most human beings just have to get their way or they become very disagreeable. The Bible, however, says that to follow God we must surrender control of our life to him. Making the decision to give God control each day is what we refer to as the discipline of surrender.
